Not a life story but just a small background story about my love for travel and photography. After losing a pub buddy on a heart attack in 2007 I was (again) reminded that life is and can be shorts. If you want to do something you have to aim and go for it. I decided that I wanted to see the world and travel. So I booked my first trip to Costa Rica that same year. It started my love for travel and wildlife and I booked my next trip to Thailand 1 year later in 2008. This group trip was organised with the Bring The Elephant Home foundation and the elephants stole my heart that trip. I supported the foundation as a volunteer for many years and travelled back to the elephants in Thailand some more times, they always have a special place in my heart. If you wish to travel to Thailand I highly recommend visiting the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai or/and Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary near Sukhothai. 

My love for travel and wildlife grew over the years and photography grew on this. Hope you enjoy the collection op photo’s I post on this website.
